PRESENTATION

Create a "New House" with the One You've Got
As we age or have a change in lifestyle, our house - our HOME - can sometimes no longer feel very "homey". Maybe we're tired of certain aesthetics. Maybe we walk into a room only to walk right back out because something feels "off". After today's presentation, you'll see that you can create a "new house" with the one you've got and get back that feeling you had when you first fell in love with it.

From Universal Design to learning how to bring the outdoors in and the indoors out, interior and environmental design expert, Beppie Mostert, will explain how we can create new spaces and use sustainable products and materials in our everyday lives to transform our living environment and age in place.

MENU OPTIONS

Shrimp Red Chile Caesar
Crisp romaine lettuce with red pepper, avocado, tortilla strips and cotija cheese topped with grilled shrimp and served with a side of Miguel’s tj-style red Chile Caesar dressing. (Choose “No Shrimp” to remove shrimp and add a side of black beans)

Enchiladas
Choose either Vegetable or Suizas. Served with a side of rice* and beans.
Vegetable – Two corn tortillas with roasted mushrooms, zucchini, bell pepper, onion and cheese topped with Salsa Verde and avocado slices.
Suizas – Shredded chicken rolled into corn tortillas and topped with sour cream, cheese and tangy Verde sauce.

Flatbread and House Salad
Flatbread with black beans, jack cheese, avocado salsa fresca and pickled jalapeños. Served with a side house salad of Romaine and mixed lettuces with radishes, avocado and carrots. Creamy Cilantro Dressing on the side.

*Rice is made with chicken broth and a very small amount of flour, so not vegan or 100% GF.
